"Making a Difference for Wildlife,
One Acre at a Time"
We Need Your Help!
All of our efforts in wildlife conservation, fund raising and involving youth in the outdoors comes from volunteers, mostly from our board of directors. Here's what we're looking for:
1. Board Members
Do you love to hunt, love the outdoors, want the hunting tradition to continue for many generations? Then being on our board may be right for you. Being a board member doesn't take a lot of time. We typically meet on Monday nights from June through September each year. These meetings are in preparation for our annual fund raising banquet typically held in September or early October. The primary duties of the board is to sell tickets to the banquet and solicit donations from the local community.
2. Banquet Volunteers
Volunteering at our banquet is a one day a year event. Duties primarily include selling banquet tickets prior to the event, setting up the banquet room and selling raffle tickets during the banquet.
3. Event Volunteers
We hold two youth hunts each year, typically on September 1st and in mid-October. The September hunt is on opening day of dove season and our pheasant hunt is in October. Volunteers help with organizing youth sign ups and various duties throughout the day of the hunt.
